Members of Illegal Investment Scheme Nabbed in Davao del Norte
Police authorities arrested two (2) suspects who were allegedly members of a syndicate operating an illegal investment scheme in Davao del Norte.
In Barangay Zone 2, Sta. Rosa, the arrested suspects were identified as a 25-year-old lady and a 45-year-old male. On Sunday, at Cruz, Davao Del Sur. According to reports, the police purported to invest in Universal Church Beatus Told.
According to the story, the two were caught right away after collecting money from the transaction. The purported investment scam’s system is still being researched. The accused, who are facing estafa charges, are already in the Santa Cruz Police Department’s custody.

Meanwhile, the National Bureau of Investigation-Anti-Fraud Division (NBI-AFD) arrested five (5) fraudsters allegedly involved in an investment scam in Quezon City. The arrest, according to Distor, was made after a walk-in informant reported an alleged investment scam.
A company named Agri-Wealth Farm Ventures Inc. is accused of running an illegal investment, based on the previous article. Agri-Wealth, according to the informant, provides public investment with a promise of a 160 percent return on investment within 100 days.
The information was checked with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) right away, and it was revealed that Agri-Wealth was not a corporation, according to the statement of NBI. It also hasn’t applied for a secondary license with the Securities and Exchange Commission. As a result, the entrapment operation was carried out at the Agri-Wealth office in New Manila, Quezon City.
