Actor Aljur Abrenica had this aim before he met Robin Padilla, the father of Kylie Padilla who he married and had two sons.
These past few days, the breakup of Aljur and Kylie became a trending topic on social media. The news of their separation was brought out to the public by Robin during an interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel.
Kylie confirmed this through a statement with a request to the public to respect their decision. She also said that she and Aljur are trying their best to have a good co-parenting relationship.
In a recent article by Inquirer entertainment columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal, she shared an incident that happened during one of the birthday parties of his best friend actor Cesar Montano.
At that time, Aljur has not met Robin yet. The younger actor was eager to know a lot of things about the father of his then-girlfriend Kylie.
Carvajal said that Aljur was eager to gain the approval of Robin. The columnist also recalled the time when Aljur told her that he wanted to win back Kylie when they broke up when they were boyfriend-girlfriend many years ago.
“Now that they have parted ways again, I wonder if Aljur still has the same resolve to patch things up,” the columnist said.
In a recent virtual media conference, Aljur Abrenica expressed the importance of his family for him. “We create our own reality. My world revolves around my family. There’s nothing I won’t do for them,” the actor said.
“Is it “time out or time’s up” for them? And so it goes. Only their hearts know,” the columnist added.
