PAGASA Says LPA To Bring Cloudy Conditions & Scattered Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (July 14)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure spotted along Northern Samar would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (July 14, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. A low-pressure area would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The low-pressure area was last spotted at east northeast of Catarman, Northern Samar or 130 km East Southeast of Legazpi City, Albay. It would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

MIMAROPA, Bicol Region and Visayas would also experience similar weather conditions. The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

PAGASA also warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern and Central Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Bicol Region as well as the rest of the archipelago would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
