Vice Ganda stressed that he has nothing against artists who chose to transfer to other networks
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda has this follow-up statement regarding the decision of some former Kapamilya stars to transfer to other networks.
Amid the fact that ABS-CBN has no franchise, Vice and many stars of the media company are still choosing to stay. Previously, the Unkabogable Star reacted to the allegations that he tweeted against artists who did “lipat bakod” to the rival network.
Allegedly, his so-called “deleted” tweet received comments from netizens saying that it was his alleged “patutsada” against John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, two of the A-list stars of ABS-CBN before who are now in GMA-7.
Based on the article in PEP, during a recent episode of the Kapamilya noontime show, Vice Ganda reiterated that the network transfer of some stars has no issue with them.
“Hindi kami galit sa mga lumilipat [hindi] katulad ng pinapalabas niyong balita sa social media. Hoy, 2021 na, ang cheap-cheap ng trabaho niyo! Cheap niyo! Mababa pa kayo sa… ha-ha-ha! Basahin niyo na lang tweet ko!” the comedian-host said.
Previously, comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz, one of Vice Ganda’s close friends, said that that latter was “nahihiya” to Bea Alonzo when this issue circulated. It is because Vice is friends with the A-list actress who recently signed a contract with the Kapuso network after two decades of being under the management of Star Magic.
The decision of Bea to be a Kapuso became controversial as she was one of the prominent actresses of the Kapamilya network. With this, bashers questioned her “loyalty” but her friends, like Janus del Prado, defended her.
