Here’s what Sunshine Dizon clarified about his network switch
New Kapamilya actress Sunshine Dizon clarified a few things surrounding her decision to transfer from GMA to ABS-CBN.
For 25 years, Sunshine has been under the management of the Kapuso network where she did several TV shows that showcased her acting prowess.
After 2 decades and a half, she decided to accept the offer from the Kapamilya network. She said that the offer that she received from ABS-CBN was surprisingly good and her first project is the series Marry Me, Marry You.
In a recent interview with PEP, Sunshine Dizon stressed that she has no “sama ng loob” towards her former home network.
When asked if it was difficult for her to decide about her TV contract, she answered that she does not want to divulge farther details out of respect to GMA.
“Pero ang masasabi ko lang is maayos kaming nakipag-usap at maayos din silang nakipag-usap sa amin ni Perry [Lansigan, her talent manager],” the actress shared.
She also said that she had no apprehensions about her decision because the Kapuso network actually wished her well. “To be honest, no hard feeling. Wala akong bitbit na sama ng loob,” she added.
Sunshine Dizon also clarified that there was no issue between her and GMA. It is a common notion in the Philippine entertainment industry that once a celebrity will transfer to a rival network a conflict has happened.
“So, I’d rather not give comment with regards to whatever transpired. Pero kung ang tanong mo, may sama ka ba ng loob, wala talaga. To be honest, wala,” she said.
The actress also attributed to GMA the chance that ABS-CBN has noticed her talent. Through her remarkable roles in the Kapuso network, it was proven that she is one of the most sought-after drama actresses in her generation.
