Valenzuela City Factory Employer Who Pays Employee in Centavo Coins Tests Positive for Coronavirus Disease
The factory employer who paid his worker in centavo coins has tested positive for the coronavirus disease, according to Mayor Rex Gatchalian.
On Thursday (July 8, 2021), Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian reported that the factory employer identified as Jasper So has tested positive for COVID-19. So is the employer who paid his worker Russel Mañoza in centavo coins.
“Na-COVID itong si Jasper So.
Gatchalian explained that it is the reason why Nexgreen Enterprises took time to comply with the requirements of the local government for the resumption of their operation. The firm’s operation has been suspended after the employee file complaints.
Over 20 employees of Nexgreen Enterprises have also expressed their disappointment towards their employer over illegal dismissal, not enough payment of salary and backpay. Five employees have already received the compensation while 15 others are still waiting for the payment.
