Toni Gonzaga Recalls Frank & Direct Question From Ces Drilon Before

Here’s the question of Ces Drilon to Toni Gonzaga before when she was still new in ABS-CBN.

TONI GONZAGA – In Toni Talks, Ces Drilon appeared as a guest and Toni Gonzaga recalled this very frank question from her years ago.

Among the most respected journalists and someone who has been with ABS-CBN for over 30 years before being laid off is Ces Drilon. She has done several programs with them and recently, she appeared in the Youtube channel of Toni Gonzaga called Toni Talks. In this episode, she talked about her career, her past experiences, and her Abu Sayyaf abduction that made headlines way back in 2008 along with her two cameramen.

In the video, Toni remembered that one of the very first persons who tackled her life story and interviewed her during her early transfer in ABS-CBN is Drilon in her program “People”. In the first part of the interview, the journalist was the first to remember the question she asked the host before about being a virgin at that moment.

“I remember, I had the temerity to ask you before if you were still a virgin,” she said and Toni backed up, “And I said ‘yes’.”

Toni admitted that she was when that interview happened and confessed that there were just two instances that she was asked of that question – one with Ces and the other with 700 CLub Asia. Ces’ reaction then when she said that she was was just a nod.

In the same interview, the female reporter shared that her father was a military and the helicopter he was riding coming home crashed, and his body, since the accident, was never recovered. She also talked about the Abu Sayyaf abduction which she described as hellish. She was feeling guilty in the thought that she did not obey her bosses’ instructions and giving the torture to her family.
