Pacquiao Arrives In LA, Readies Himself For Spence Bout
PACQUIAO ARRIVES IN LA – Fighting Senator Manny Pacquiao has touched down in Los Angeles to prepare for his latest fight against Errol Spence Jr.
Even with the fight set on August 21, Pacquaio said that he wants to train early. Furthermore, he stated that training in the U.S. is safer due to more people being vaccinated.
Before leaving for his fight, Pacquiao presented a list of corrupt government agencies. This caused most of the people who once supported the Senator to go on the offensive.
President Rodrigo Duterte stated that Pacquiao’s actions were driven by politics. Furthermore, he emphasized that Pacquiao should finish his duties as a Senator before leaving the country.
Meanwhile, other high-ranking government officials stated that Pacquiao should study first before making accusations. But, when asked if all this attributed to Pacquiao’s early flight, Coach Buboy Fernandez said their decision to leave earlier than expected was due to laxed COVID-19 restrictions in Los Angles.
At least, we are here now, so we will continue our training…The people here in the US, they’re coordinating. If the government says people take the vaccine, [they take it] so it’s safer here, that’s why we decided to come here early
