Manila Midnight Vaccination Program Made Available Targeting the Working People

MANILA MIDNIGHT VACCINATION – The midnight vaccination program against COVID-19 has started in Manila and targets those who are working during the day.

In line with the pursuit for population protection, vaccinations against COVID-19 is being conducted in the Philippines now – and in several countries abroad. This pandemic has affected almost every nation and has cost millions of lives across the globe.

In PH, community quarantine measures are still implemented amid the threats of the coronavirus disease. The authorities continue to remind the public to observe the proper health protocols against the disease.

Everyone must wear a face mask and practice social distancing in public areas. Also, there are limitations set for certain age groups in some cities.

Several brands of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in the Philippines including Sinovac, Pfizer, and AstraZeneca. The national government also assured deliveries from other manufacturers of COVID-19 vaccines like Moderna and Sputnik V.

Over 10 million people in the Philippines have already received their first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. The health workers are the top priority in the vaccination process and many doctors, nurses, and medical frontliners are already fully-vaccinated.

Some local government units are also concerned about those people who are earning based on a daily basis. Thus, they set up a vaccination that could attend to those who are not available during the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. vaccination due to very important purposes.

Based on a report in ABS-CBN News, one of these is the Manila midnight vaccination program against COVID-19 which has already started in the capital city. It is located along the Recto Avenue and starts the vaccination from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The target of the Manila midnight vaccination program are the stevedores and the pedicab and “kuliglig” drivers. The vendors not just from Metro Manila but as well as other parts of Luzon may also be catered.
