Bea Alonzo stressed that she talked to ABS-CBN management
A-list actress Bea Alonzo debunked the allegation that she did not ask for the blessing of the bosses of ABS-CBN before she transferred to GMA-7.
A few months have passed since the rumors about Bea’s network transfer started to circulate. For 20 years, she has been under the management of Star Magic, the Kapamilya talent management firm.
Because of her decision to sign a contract with GMA, which is being rumored as worth P200 million, she received negative comments saying that allegedly, she exchanged her loyalty for monetary reasons. However, Bea stressed that it has been a year that she has no contract with ABS-CBN when the offer from GMA came to her.
In a previous article, it was stated that allegedly, the bosses of the Kapamilya network were shocked that Bea Alonzo already signed a contract with GMA as they thought she will just be doing a movie with Kapuso actor Alden Richards.
Rumor has it that the A-list actress did not have a discussion with the executives of ABS-CBN prior to her contract signing with the Kapuso network. In a recent episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, Bea had this statement that the debunked the “di nagpaalam” issue.
The actress said that the offer from GMA came at the right time and it felt right. “Kapag magaan, tama pati ‘yong pagpapaalam ko sa ABS-CBN,” the new Kapuso star said.
She also said that she is grateful for everything that her former home network has done for her but being a Kapuso now seemed to be a “rebirth for her”.
The actress also said that she is choosing to be positive and she knows in her heart that she got the blessing of her past bosses. “I know na wala akong tinapakang tao,” she added.
