Here’s what Aiko Melendez said about Jomari Yllana
Actress Aiko Melendez has this answer when asked if she ever regretted having a relationship with actor Jomari Yllana.
Aiko and Jomari’s past relationship was blessed with a son, Andre Yllana. The actress is now in a relationship with Zambales Vice Governor Jay Khonghun while the actor rekindled his love with ex-girlfriend Abby Viduya.
In a recent vlog of talent manager-comedian Ogie Diaz, one of the closest showbiz friends of Aiko Melendez, asked her if there is any regret when it comes to her past affair with Jomari Yllana.
“Hindi. Kasi siyempre kahit paano nabigyan niya ako ng isang anak na tapos na ngayon ng college. Thank You, Lord. One down na ako, ‘di ba?” Aiko, who is very proud of her son’s academic achievement, said.
Then, the actress was asked if she raised her children alone. She answered that Ogie is part of it since she would in-cash her checks through him.
“Kasi ikaw din ang nagsasabi kay Andre nu’n. Lagi mo ni-reremind na kahit may sama ng loob sa’yo ‘yung taong pinag-uusapan natin, never kang nagsabi ng masama about him,” Aiko Melendez said without mentioning the name of Jomari Yllana but apparently it was about him, based on the article in Bandera.
The actress is thankful that she was able to surpass those difficult times and she appreciates that Ogie Diaz has been part of her journey as a mother. “Kaya ‘yan ‘yung isa sa pinapasalamat ko sa ’yo mother kasi, ang turing mo sa mga anak ko, parang mga anak mo na rin,” the Kapuso star said.
