Erich Gonzales shows appreciation for Star Magic
Actress Erich Gonzales expressed that she is willing to stick with Star Magic as long as the talent management company of ABS-CBN wants her.
Since Erich started her career in the entertainment industry, Star Magic handled her. Over the years, she has done a lot of major projects both on TV and in the big screen.
In a recent interview, she said that “Star Magic is family.” Erich appreciates the fact that the talent management firm has been supporting her ever since, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“I am very grateful to ABS-CBN, and for as long as they want me, I am here to stay. I grew up with Star Magic. They have been there to help and guide me,” Erich Gonzales said.
Now, after three years since her last series The Blood Sisters, Erich was given the chance to be the lead actress in La Vida Lena together with Carlo Aquino, Kit Thompson, and JC de Vera.
Erich is playing the role of Magda, a woman who is always being ridiculed and discriminated for having a scar on her face. Magda became Lena after surpassing the hardships. Then, she will seek vengeance for the wrong things that were done against her.
Erich Gonzales said that the biggest challenge for her in portraying the lead role in her new series is to make sure that her portrayal is different from her previous project.
“I don’t compare myself with others. Instead, I focus on how to be better or how to improve from my last project. That will be more fruitful,” she said when asked if she’s ready to be compared with other actresses who have done similar projects.
