Erich Gonzales talked about her role in ‘La Vida Lena’
Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales shared the reason why she accepted the offer to be the female lead in the series La Vida Lena.
With her years in the entertainment industry, Erich has already done various roles that proved her acting prowess. Just recently, another role was attached to her name and it is the character of Lena.
Based on the article in The Philippine Star, Erich said that her role in the new series is the reason why she accepted the project. She said that she and Lena somehow have similarities when it comes to having experience loving someone and got hurt because of this.
However, a challenge comes with this similarity. “But this is the challenge for me every time I make a project — how I can separate my true self from the character that I portray,” Erich Gonzales said. The actress said that she is thankful for the help of the La Vida Lena team in order for her to portray her role properly.
“Wala naman pong impossible kung lahat naman tulungan. Sila direk, mga kasama ko po dito, as in tulungan po talaga. As in, walang ‘Sige bahala ka na diyan.’ Kami po, tulong — tulong lahat dito,” Erich shared.
When asked if she already experienced being ruthless because of love, she said she is choosing to be good in every situation. For Erich Gonzales, being understanding is much better.
“Let’s just be kind na lang lagi. Bahala na si God,” she added. She also said that the storyline and plot of the series pumped her excitement to accept the project. The actress noted that it is not just about revenge but it is also “punong-puno siya ng puso.”
