SUNSHINE CRUZ – This is what Sam Cruz said about her mother Sunshine Cruz and sisters being in posts with malicious and lewd contents.
Angelina Isabelle, Samantha Angeline, and Angel Franchesca are the daughters of veteran actor Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz and having the genes of both gorgeous parents, the three of them also grew up beautifully. Their photos are always getting attention and aside from their looks, they are also talented.
However, it seems like other people don’t know how to draw the line between admiration and having malicious thoughts. Some people online get way further to the point that such “admiration” becomes offensive already. They sometimes see themselves being the subject of lewd posts online. And for always, they would clarify that they are not dressing up to please others but dressing up for themselves in the way they are comfortable and making them feel good.
And just recently, Sam, who recently just decided to join show business like her mother and sister, stood firm expressing that such behavior must not be tolerated. Just like what happened to one of their photos where the face of their mother’s boyfriend Macky Mathay got edited and was replaced with an adult actor’s face.
She sees that what her mother did over such a disturbing “joke” was just right. She said, “I feel like there’s a fine line between a joke and something na nakakabastos na po. So, nung nakita ni Mommy ‘yan, sobrang na-disturb na siya.”
And what’s even more disturbing is the fact that she and their youngest are still minors. It’s entirely wrong, for her, to have their simple photo be edited to something malicious. She expressed that they are also people and they have feelings and such actions online where people are putting labels on them is offensive.
She added based on PEP, “Hindi na ito tama so we really have to act on it. Usually pag may nakita kaming ganyan, we just ignore it. Pero kung sobra na yung effort nila ng pambabastos sa amin, we have to speak up about it and we let them know it’s wrong.”
