PAGASA: Habagat to Bring Cloudy to Rainy Conditions Over Most Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Updates for Tuesday (June 22)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the habagat would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over most parts of the country.

On Tuesday (June 22, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The southwest monsoon would bring cloudy weather condition over with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Oriental Mindoro. Western Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would also experience similar weather conditions.

The weather disturbance would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over Bicol Region, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar. The rest of Visayas would also have the same weather.

“Dahil pa rin nga po sa epekto ng ating habagat o southwest monsoon, patuloy pa rin pong mararanasan ang maulap na kalangitan, na may kalat kalat na pag ulan at pagkidlat at pagkulob dito sa may Metro Manila,” Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza said.

PAGASA is monitoring a tropical depression spotted at 2,460 kilometers east of Southern Luzon outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands would be moderate to rough.

The surrounding sea conditions over Bicol Region and Northern Samar and the rest of Visayas would be slight to moderate, according to the weather agency.
