Here’s what Maureen Wroblewitz said when asked about MUP 2021
New Star Magic artist Maureen Wroblewitz was asked if she is planning to join Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and here is her answer to this.
Maureen was hailed as the first Pinay winner of Asia’s Next Top Model for its fifth season. Following that, she has several modeling stints in the Philippines and abroad.
She also had a short hosting venture through Eat Bulaga. Just recently, she officially signed a contract with ABS-CBN’s talent management firm.
Following this, speculations surfaced that she will be joining the Miss Universe PH pageant this year. Speculations even hyped up when she was spotted with Miss Kuyamis 2019, Chella Grace Falconer at the MUP screening by Aces and Queens.
Whoever will pass the screening of the popular pageant handler will be sent to join MUP. On June 21, Maureen Wroblewitz was asked about this but she has not given a direct answer, based on the article in PEP.
“I’ve always considered joining a pageant. As in my other interviews, I’ve always said I’ve considered it,” the former Eat Bulaga host said. She added that she is not closing her door and that when she feels that she is ready, she will consider it.
“I think being in a pageant gives women such a great platform to speak up to talk about what they believe in and their values I mean I would say why not,” she stressed.
When she was directly asked if she will be joining a national pageant this year, Maureen Wroblewitz said, “Not so sure yet, because this is the year I’ve heard that you have the least preparation time. And I really wanna be ready if I do join.”
