Police in Davao de Oro Allegedly Stabbed by Curfew Violator He Apprehended
POLICE STABBED BY CURFEW VIOLATOR – A health protocol enforcer was allegedly stabbed by an individual he apprehended violating curfew.
Janry Cabrera Rabe, a 27-year-old police officer, was injured after he was allegedly stabbed by a guy he had apprehended for breaking the curfew early in Barangay Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.

The victim arrested De-Jun Ruyana Melindo, 29, for allegedly breaching the curfew, which resulted in a quarrel, according to Monkayo Police. Rabe was allegedly stabbed in several parts of his body by the suspect.
Melindo was apprehended at his mother’s house while on the run during the heated pursuit. Melindo’s criminal case is now being prepared. The victim is in the hospital recovering.
Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy and his buddy were slain in an anti-illegal narcotics operation in Biñan, Laguna. The suspect was said to have resisted, but the relatives disputed this.
According to the relatives of the murdered minor, the police claimed that he resisted being served with an arrest warrant and was killed as a result of his resistance. However, according to aunt, another story reached them that the kid begged not to be killed while being shackled.
