Mother of Elisse Joson does not approve daughter’s rekindled romance with McCoy De Leon?
ELISSE JOSON – Here’s what McCoy De Leon said when asked about Elisse Joson’s mother’s reaction over their rekindled romance.
Former reel-life pair McCoy De Leon and Elisse Joson have actually brought their relationship to real life. They met during their stint as housemates in the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7” and since then, they were dubbed as McLisse. However, they parted ways in 2018 and for a time, Elisse got linked with Jameson Blake and McCoy courted Miles Ocampo. But both of their attempts to divert love to other people were unsuccessful.
Last 2019 based on a previous article, he tearfully said his apology to her because of the sacrifices he made that costed their relationship. He begged her to give their love a second chance but it did not happen. And in 2020, a post from him hinted that they have seemingly fixed their relationship and got together again.
During the courtesy call for the Yorme: The Musical where De Leon will play the young Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, he confirmed that they have got back together but did not divulge the full details as to how and when it happened. But what happened is giving him happiness like no other that he cannot put into words even. He is just overwhelmingly grateful.
He quipped, “Pero sa lahat na mga nangyari, sobrang thankful po ako, wala nang problema. Grateful po ako, at lahat po talaga, naniniwala ako na pag ipagpasa-Diyos mo yun.”
However, what he cannot just answer directly is Elisse’s mother’s reaction to their rekindled romance. Way back, Elisse firmly said that her mother was not to blame for their split.
Vaguely, he just answered, “Ang masasabi ko lang, lahat naman tayo, tumatanda. Siguro, may timing, may panahon din. Siyempre, nandun pa rin po ang malaking respeto ko po.”
