McCoy de Leon Answers Rumors Regarding Him Leaving ABS-CBN
McCoy De Leon Transfer – Kapamilya actor McCoy de Leon answers rumors regarding him leaving his home network, ABS-CBN.
Recently, de Leon transferred agencies from Star Magic to Viva Artists Agency (VAA). Knowing the connection between Star Magic and ABS-CBN, one could say that it’s highly likely that the actor would transfer networks.
However, he clarified that although decided to leave Star Magic and was under new management, he wouldn’t totally leave ABS-CBN. According to an article from PUSH, he said:
Nung lumipat naman ako sa Viva it doesn’t mean naman po na aalis na ako ng ABS-CBN. Sinabi ko rin sa kanila yon at sila na rin ang nagsabi sa akin na may work pa din naman
(When I transferred to VIVA, it didn’t mean that I would leave ABS-CBN. I told them and they told me that there’s still work).
Currently, the actor is part of the TV series, Walang Hanggang Paalam under Dreamscape Entertainment. Furthermore, de Leon emphasized that his home is with ABS-CBN. As per the article, he said:
Hindi na yon mababago. Kaya naging komportable ako sa Viva kasi naiintindihan nila yung gusto kong mangyari – na hindi ako aalis ng ABS-CBN. Alam naman natin na ang pangit ng ganung desisyon, di ba?
Moreover, he said that he wants to expand where he could work. But, he asserted that ABS-CBN would always be his home.
