Supreme Court Employee Caught Smoking Dope Inside Facility Arrested
The Supreme Court executives dismissed an employee after caught allegedly smoking illegal plant called “Maryjane” inside the facility.
A Supreme Court employee caught in the act of using illegal plant inside the court premises was fired from service. The arrested employee was identified as Louie Mark U. De Guzman, based on the report.

De Guzman is allegedly a Storekeeper I in the Property Division of the Office of Administrative Services (OAS). Based on the Supreme Court decision, is guilty of grave misconduct due to illegal substance use.
In the forensic analysis conducted by the NBI, the presence of an active component of maryjane in the urine sample from the respondent was confirmed. Aside from the heaviest penalty imposed, the Supreme Court also ordered that all of De Guzman’s benefits except accrued leave credits be revoked.
De Guzman has also been disqualified while alive from any branch of government.
Based on confidential reports received by the SC OAS, De Guzman was caught using maryjane in the stockroom of the Property Division of the Old SC Building on various occasions.
