Gaisano Mall in Antique Hit by Fire

GAISANO MALL IN ANTIQUE – A massive fire caught the Gaisano Grand mall in San Jose and the fire reached general alarm.

One of the most risky incidents that could happen in a building is fire. It can result not just to damages in structures but as well as loss of lives. Many people lost their lives to fire incidents catching homes, business offices, malls, and other establishments.

The firemen are risking their lives to save the people but there are cases when the incident is “massive” and the firemen could not easily enter the affected areas. This incident can really leave nothing if not attended right away.

Recently, in the province of Antique, residents were left saddened when a massive fire caught one of their shopping malls. The said incident even reached the general alarm.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Gaisano mall in Antique located in Barangay 8, Bagumbayan Bridge in San Jose was caught by massive fire. Firemen from the neighboring provinces like Iloilo and Aklan helped in responding to the incident that reached the general alarm.

According to the investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in San Jose, the fire that hit the Gaisano mall in Antique started in the second level of the shopping mall. It abruptly spread in the ground floor of the building where the grocery and the restaurants can be found.

Based on the report, it took two (2) hours before the fire was put out. There are no reported casualties or injuries caused by the said fire incident.

Currently, the San Jose BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire incident and the amount of the damages caused by it. A lot of people are worried about the employees of the mall who might lost their jobs amid the crisis.
