Sudden fire incidents are always catastrophic. In several cases, fire incidents have ruined homes and left families with very little or nothing to start over with.

To alleviate the cases of fire incidents, the state’s bureau of Fire Protection have published tips on preventing the fire-related accidents from happening in the first place.

Recently, in Brgy. Banago, provice of Negros Occidental, a huge fire broke out affecting numerous homes. Most families weren’t able to save their belongings due to the quick spreading of flames.

Facebook user Kristine Rivera posted videos of the fire incident happening and called for help through the social networking platform.

The fire reportedly happened around 3 am this morning (June 10, 2019). Based on the original post source’s comments, the fire affected about a hundred homes and families are in need of help.

She posted the videos with the caption:

“Good morning, in behalf of Brgy2 council, kag pumuloyo sang Purok Kagaykay, ga pangayo ko bulig para sa nasunogan. almost 100 houses ang nasunog.
– kong may ara kamu da canopy mahulam kami para temporary shelter nila.

ang inyo mahatag dako na nga bulig.”

[Good Morning, in behalf of Brgy.2 council, and the residents of Purok Kagaykay, I am asking for help for the affected residents of the recent fire. Almost 100 houses were burned down.
– If you have canopies we could borrow for temporary shelter
– Potable water for drinking
– Food and clothes, since most of them weren’t able to save their belongings. Whatever you could provide will be appreciated, it’s really a big help.]
