Road accident is one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Reckless driving is among the major reasons of increasing rate of accidents in the country.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter policy to reduce the rate of accidents but there are still a lot of hard-headed motorists violating the traffic rules and regulations.
A Facebook user named Kevin Camba has shared the video footage of an overloading kamote rider who accidentally hits a barricade due to his recklessness. The video garnered criticisms from the netizens.
In the video, it can be that the reckless motorist overtakes Camba’s vehicle at a double yellow lane, wherein overtaking is strictly prohibited. The rider did not immediately see the barricade and hit it.
The rider including his three passengers sent pummeling on the ground after hitting the barricade. The passengers did not only commit multiple traffic violations but they have also defied the health protocols.

The passengers are not wearing crash helmets and other safety gears. Some of the boys were not even wearing their face masks. The guys pick up the motorcycle and pull it beside the road to avoid causing traffic congestion.
