Joe Biden Left Speechless After Vladimir Putin Responds To His Inquiries
JOE BIDEN LEFT SPEECHLESS – The President of the United States had a run-in with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
However, following a series of inquiries on Russian issues, Joe Biden was left tongue tied following Putin’s response. During a wide range NBC interview, Putin was questioned regarding Alexei Navalny, the opposition leader to Putin.
Navalny was infamous for standing up against Putin, a dangerous ordeal some political analysts would say. Eventually, this led to detainment of Navalny and several other dissidents.
However, Putin responded by highlighting the January 6 Capitol Riots. Here, authorities arrested hundreds for criticizing what Russia did with dissents. According to an article from NBC, Putin said: “We have a saying: ‘Don’t be mad at the mirror if you are ugly“.
Furthermore, the Russian president emphasized that “It has nothing to do with you (U.S.) personally. But if somebody blames us for something, what I say is, why don’t you look at yourselves? You will see yourselves in the mirror, not us”.
Following this, the interviewer emphasized that the people arrested in the Capitol Riots were violent and trespassing and that it wasn’t the same situation with Russia. As a response, Putin said “Did you order the assassination of the woman who walked into the Congress and who was shot and killed by a policeman?”.
Moreover, the Russian President said that the individuals who stormed the Capitol weren’t there to steal but to echo their political demands.
