Here’s what Dingdong Dantes said about Vico Sotto
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared his opinion about young politician Vico Sotto as the current Mayor of Pasig City.
Since election, Vico has caught the attention of the whole Philippines, not just the residents of Pasig. Aside from being the son of veteran showbiz personalities Vico Sotto and Coney Reyes, his braveness to challenge a strong political opponent also received applause from many people.
It is known to many that his name has become a trending topic on social media several times already because of the remarkable things that his administration is doing for the people of Pasig.
With this, it is a common thing that he will receive praises from people whether ordinary individuals or popular personalities.
Just recently, Dingdong Dantes, one of the A-list stars of GMA Network, shared his thoughts on the leadership of Vico Sotto. The celebrity had the chance to meet the young mayor through his TV show Amazing Earth.
For the third anniversary of the Kapuso show, it will feature local environmental heroes and one of the guests will be Mayor Vico.
“We feature local heroes para makita natin kung ano ba ‘yung mga puwede nating gawin for our environment and it’s not just limited to tree planting; it could be as simple as educating everyone tungkol sa mga kuwentong bayan na may kinalaman sa kalikasan,” the Kapuso actor said.
Based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Dingdong was able to witness the humility of the young public servant during the interview.
“I think that he is a very very humble public servant, very very sincere kumbaga ‘yung kanyang pagmamalasakit ay talagang may pinagmumulan. Hindi lang siya lip service ika nga match na match ‘yung values niya sa action na ginagawa niya at talagang masasabing servant leader talaga siya,” Dingdong Dantes shared.
