Vico Sotto’s Personal Background
Born on June 17, 1989, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto’s real name is Victor Ma. Regis Nubla Sotto. His parents are Kapuso actor-TV host Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes. However, the two (2) celebrities separated and Vico grew up under the care of his mother. Meanwhile, he has a wonderful relationship with his father.
Growing up, Vico made appearance in Eat Bulaga! where his father is one of the main stay hosts but most of the time he is really away from the spotlight of showbiz. He took his grade school and high school education at Brent International School. In college, he graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Ateneo de Manila University. Vico Sotto’s age now is 31 years old.
Vico Sotto’s Political Career
In 2016, Vico Sotto became a member of the city council of Pasig. He served a single term and ran for mayor in the 2019 Elections. He ended the 27-year rule of the Eusebios in the city. His leadership hooked a lot of people as many admire how he leads Pasig. He is one of the most admired mayors in the Philippines and he was even named as one of the 12 people to have been given the Anti-Corruption Award by the United States.
