Lorin weighs who is more strict between mother Ruffa Gutierrez and grandmother Annabelle Rama.
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – Showbiz neophyte Lorin Gutierrez describes how strict of a mother Ruffa Gutierrez is to her compared to her Lola.
Lorin Gabriella and Venezia Loran are the daughters of former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez with Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas. The two girls are all grown-ups now and their eldest, Lorin, has just signed a management contract under Viva Artists Agency (VAA) and currently studying what roles she would take and the first project she would accept.
Being in the industry now, Lorin said that accepting daring roles is a definite “no” for her. She is known for her steamy posts and photos on Instagram but in terms of acting, it’s an immediate no for her. Accordingly, her posts are something she has full control over on how it should look like, and acting it out is something she must be comfortable doing but the difference is, she’s not comfortable about it. For the 17-year-old actress, having a daring image is a commitment you must completely be confident to portray.
And coming from a showbiz royalty family, Lorin spoke about her mother Ruffa and Lola Annabelle Rama. It has always been open to the public how strict Annabelle is but for Lorin, it was actually her mother who is more strict with her now.
She admitted that her Lola is a bit calm and relax to her compared to her mother. She added, “Parang hindi naman siya ganoon ka-strict with me. I don’t know if it’s kasi maybe she already let out all her strictness sa mommy ko.”
The young actress also popped the common misconception about her family for being so strict because they actually let her do the things she wants on her own. As per Push, she said that her family trusts her.
