Ruffa Gutierrez admits fear of ex-husband.
RUFFA GUTIERREZ – The actress Ruffa Gutierrez admits that she still has this fear when it comes to her former husband Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas.
Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas was the one Ruffa Gutierrez has married but due domestic violence she has experienced, after four years, they have separated. They were blessed with two daughters – Lorin and Venice – under the custody of Ruffa. The actress is currently in a relationship with Jordan Mouyal, a French Israeli.
“Bakit ka umiiyak? Gusto mong bumalik sa kanya para bugbugin ka naman? Hayaan mo na siya, meron ka na rin naming boyfriend na PG,” Annabelle accordingly said based on a previous article when she got a wedding invitation from her former husband.
And now, many years that had passed, the actress still has this fear of her husband. In a report from PUSH, she confessed, “Would you believe until now I’m still afraid of my ex-husband? Even if he’s invited me so many times to go back, I don’t want to go back because I have this notion in my head that he will kill me.”
She added that it was difficult. Despite the comfort of talking about, the mere thought still brings pain in her heart. Perhaps, she just learned from it and was able to move on but never totally forgot whatever she has gone through.
“It’s better to speak out and be free and not live in fear anymore than continue your life in a prison cell… If there’s any of you who are listening right now, if you’re getting beaten up by your husbands, we’re here, please tell us because there’s still life out there for everyone,” she said.
