Six passengers, as well as the bus driver and conductor, were hurt. The injured were sent to Mandaluyong Medical Center, where they are now undergoing treatment. One of them, according to the official, is in a critical condition.

Kritikal sa kanilya ‘yung pasahero na … well, apparently nung pagka-hit, eh tumilapon sa labas. Inabutan namin po siya sa kalsada,” said Nebrija.

The bus driver was also said to be stuck behind the wheel. There were no patients in the ambulance. The ambulance driver was adamant about not giving a statement.

Investigators also declined to offer an interview because the accident is still being investigated. He explained that there are no CCTV cameras in that section of EDSA because the MMDA only removes them for maintenance.
