3 Frontliners Died Inside the Bus Allegedly Set on Fire in North Cotabato

Three (3) frontliners were killed and four (4) passengers were injured when a bus in North Cotabato was allegedly ambushed and set on fire.

A bus was attacked and set on fire in M’lang, Cotabato, killing three persons and injuring four more. When the rescue squad and officials arrived, the bus was already on fire, according to reports.

According to the preliminary inquiry, the criminals shot the bus driver on his way from Kipapawan City to Tacurong City. They then allegedly doused the bus in gasoline and set it ablaze.

The passengers panicked as the fire spread quickly, and some were unable to exit the vehicle. Three frontliners were locked inside and died as a result of their injuries.

Four more people were brought to the hospital with second-degree burns, according to the report. The bus was discovered delivering and collecting up frontliners, as well as authorized individuals, outside of the apartment (APOR).

The motivation for the attack, as well as who was behind it, are still unknown. The bus company’s owner in Koronadal City has yet to issue a statement.
