Following the shooting incident, an old post of Zinampan on his Facebook account has caught the attention of netizens. The online community chides the “good cop” post of Zinampan talking about his dedication towards his work as police officer.

“I am PMSg Hensie A. Zinampan 14 years in serving and protecting. Taas noo kong pinapanindigan ang integridad ng aking uniporme, buong puso ang dedikasyon sa trabaho. I AM PROUD TO BE A GOOD COP,” he wrote in his post.

He even mentioned the case of Jonel Nuezca, a police officer who was caught on camera shooting an old woman point-blank. According to his post, the PNP has sworn to their duties to protect the people “with honor and integrity.”

“While there are unfortunate incidents like this, the vast majority of you, PNP perform their sworn duties every day with honor and integrity to protect and serve the people. The sin of Nuezca is not the sin of the entire PNP, as we have seen during the past disasters and this pandemic, we place our lives on the line as first responders and frontliners,” he added.
