Cops Arrest Cult Leader in Quezon City for Allegedly Abusing 3 Female Minor Members

A cult leader in Quezon City has been arrested by the police authorities after allegedly abusing his three female minor members.

The 46-year-old Romeo delos Reyes who is working as a janitor at a warehouse has been arrested for allegedly abusing three female members who were all minors. The victims were aging 10, 12, and 14.

Delos Reyes is a leader of an alleged religious group who were molesting and abusing female children, which is allegedly a part of blessing. The group leader also required some ladies to sleep on his house.

The parents of the young victims went to Quezon Police station to report the incident. The girls said that the suspect is hypnotizing them and reportedly performs faith healing for free but beneficiaries must join the group.

However, the suspect denied the accusations of abusing the girls but admitted that he touched the private part of one of his female member.

“Tulala sila kasi according dun sa mga parents na na-interview namin, hini-hypnotize sila. Pag tinanong sila hindi sila sumasagot. After how many days tsaka na lang sila nakakausap,” QCPD Station 11 chief Police Lieutenant Elizabeth Jasmin said.

The accused is facing charges of Rape in Relation to Child Abuse and Illegal Possession of Ammunition. The cult has been abolished after the incident.
