ANDRE BROUILLETTE – Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Andre Brouillette explained the story behind the lunch he had with Ilongga beauty queen Rabiya Mateo.

The breakup rumors between Rabiya Mateo and Neil Salvacion began on Wednesday when the latter deleted their Instagram photos together. He even deleted his birthday greetings for the beauty queen last November.

Rabiya’s photos and video with Pinoy Big Brother alum Andre Brouillette also stirred speculation among their followers. In an IG post on Thursday, she clarified that there is “no malice “in their viral photo and clarifies she’s “not available.”

Recently, Rabiya Mateo shut down breakup rumors with Neil Salvacion by leaving a comment on his latest Instagram pic. She commented on his weight loss saying he looks fit in his new picture.

In the photo which showed Neil enjoying the waters of Matabungkay, Batangas, Rabiya wrote: “Payat siya eh,” to which Neil replied with “sinegwelas for days.” The comment of the beauty queen garnered thousands of likes from netizens who seemed to feel comforted after seeing it.

Andre Brouillette was recently interviewed by Star Magic Inside News. During his interview, he finally addressed the rumors linking him to Rabiya Mateo.

The 24-year-old Fil-Am model said he was able to meet the beauty queen because they are under the same management. He said, “We have the same agency, the same team that is managing her so I was able to meet her as I came to Miami to do hosting for Miss Universe.”

Andre Brouillette also explained the story behind the lunch she had with the Ilongga beauty and another companion in California. “Really, I can’t control what people think with that photo. What happened was we picked her up in the airport and we had time, we’re all hungry, and we all had a great lunch in Beverly Hills,” he said.

“So my intention uploading that photo was it was a great time with friends and a great lunch and with Miss Universe Philippines 2020, so great photo to upload for the memories. But then again I can’t control what people say and not everything people say is true,” he added.

He stressed that he is only friends with Mateo. He said, “We’re great friends and I have the utmost respect for her and she’s a great person representing Miss Philippines 2020 so I wish her success.”
