Caloocan LGU Logs 16 More Positive with COVID-19 from the Resort Guests
CALOOCAN RESORT POSITIVE – Local government unit (LGU) recorded 16 more guests tested positive with COVID-19 after the super-spreader event.
16 more visitors who swam at the Gubat sa Ciudad Resort in Caloocan City on Mother’s Day have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the local administration. Almost all affected patients were asymptomatic, according to the findings.

One patient, on the other hand, experienced migraines and is now being held in isolation. The overall number of guests who have tested positive for the sickness now stands at 20.
The LGU has tested 207 visitors, with 55 more awaiting results. Meanwhile, the LGU is still looking for roughly 2,000 people after the resort’s contact tracing log was not correctly filled out.
The officials stated that they are having difficulty contacting the resort’s visitors since some of them had provided bogus information. They went on to say that some of their names are from unknown people, and that some of their phone numbers are unreachable.
Following a series of superspreader events in the area, a total of 55 people have tested positive in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon. A total of 610 people in the neighborhood have been swabbed, with one person still awaiting results.
A total of 18 people have tested positive in Barangay Capri after residents attended a drinking session. A total of 936 people were subjected to swab testing on Tuesday. Approximately 500 people are still waiting for their results.
