Quarantined Man Drink with Friends Despite 14-Days Isolation Due to COVID-19

Two (2) individuals tested positive with COVID-19 after a man that should be quarantined for 14-days held a drinking session with them.

A man who should have been quarantined was allegedly drinking in Quezon City’s Barangay Capri. The man is said to be a close relative of someone who died from COVID-19.

When the barangay officials discovered that the residents were drinking with him, they swab tested him right away. Two of them were found to be infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The two also communicated with others before the swab examination, according to the article. There are 14 COVID-19 positives in the region right now, and five roads in the barangay are on high alert.

Meanwhile, police are investigating more than 2,000 tourists who visited to bathe in the river in Barangay Matictic in Norzagaray town, Bulacan. Visitors flocked to a river in the town of Norzagaray, Bulacan, which was temporarily closed to the public after found violating health protocols.

Some people can be seen swimming in the water, crowding around without face masks, while others are resting in their cottages. Up to 75 people were given citation tickets for breaking protocol, while others were forced to leave the area and return to their homes on the mayor’s advice.
