QC Cop Got Arrested by Fellow Police After Declaring Holdup & Stealing Cash from Courier Shop

A Quezon City cop has been arrested after declaring hold-up and stealing cash from a courier shop in San Miguel, Bulacan.

A 29-year-old police officer assigned in Quezon City is facing various criminal and administrative charges for declaring hold-up at a courier shop in Barangay Camias, bayan ng San Miguel, Bulacan. The cop has a rank of police corporal and serving for a couple of years in PNP.

The suspect allegedly carries a firearm and hand grenade during his illegal activity. The culprit took the P5, 000 initial income of the shop and run away from the shop using a motorcycle without a plate number.

The personnel of San Ildefonso, San Miguel at Cabanatuan PNP immediately conducted a hot pursuit operation, which leads to the arrest of the suspect. The authorities seized a 9mm pistol, hand grenade, PNP ID card, and the stolen cash from the suspect.

According to the investigation, the suspect has no previous criminal records before the holdup incident in San Miguel. The policeman also refused to give a statement regarding the incident.

Meanwhile, PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar announced that he would dismiss the police officer from his position. The unnamed cop is current detained at San Miguel Municipal Police Station.
