Pokwang Took a Swipe to Bashers Questioning Her Help to Miss Myanmar
Actress-comedienne Pokwang took a swipe against bashers who were questioning her offer to help Miss Myanmar after her controversial escape.
The comedienne Marietta Subong also known as Pokwang, on Twitter, previously offered Miss Myanmar Thuzar Wint Lwin a place to stay at their home after she revealed that she had just escaped her country to compete in Miss Universe.
During the Miss Universe 2020, Miss Myanmar can be seen holding a piece of placard with the words “Pray for Myanmar” during the National Costume. She already has an arrest warrant out for her when she returns home. Her sister is said to be hiding for the time being due to death threats she received as a result of Miss Myanmar’s actions.

Due to that, Pokwang has confirmed that the beauty queen is most welcome in her home. She invited the beauty queen to her home and even offered her roasted chicken and laing.
However, despite her kind-hearted offer, some bashers criticized her. Some netizens said why Miss Myanmar is supposed to be help when there are more people who are suffering here in the Philippines.
As a result, the comedian actually turned on his bashers who questioned her for helping Miss Myanmar. “Excuse me, kung talagang followers ko kayo, legit ko kayong fan, alam niyo kung ano ang ginagawa kong pagtulong,” she wrote.
“At hindi ko na iisa isahin yun, ang importante alam ni God kung ano ang ginagawa ko. Hindi yun mga naka-data lang na makapag-comment. Okay? Kalma,” she added.
