John Lloyd Cruz reveals one good effect of his leave from show business
A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz shared in a recent interview that his faith was strengthened after he took his showbiz hiatus.
It is a known fact that many showbiz fans miss Lloydie onscreen. His talent in portraying various roles is undeniable. That was why many people were shocked when it was reported that he took an indefinite leave of absence.
These received various reactions from showbiz enthusiasts. Some said that he badly needed that break because he has been working non-stop for several years. On the other hand, there were those who expressed pessimism saying that it could badly affect his career.
Now that he is officially back through Crown Artist Management of Her Majesty Maja Salvador, John Lloyd Cruz arose another lever of excitement from his fans.
In a recent interview, he attributed his drive to continue to his son Elias Modesto with his former partner Ellen Adarna. “Anak ko talaga ‘yung ano ko… ‘yun ang teacher ko. Malaki ang papel nu’n sa kung bakit ako ay nandito pa ngayon,” the A-list actor said.
Aside from having the bundle of joy in his life, John Lloyd also shared one good thing that happened to him during his showbiz hiatus. The long break that he took even strengthened his faith and made him closer to God, based on the article in the Philippine Star.
“Yun yata ‘yung essence nu’n. Parang there’s no other way kundi mas mapalapit ka pa. Lagi na lang akong nagpapasalamat sa kung anong meron ka dahil nakikita mo na. Parang luminaw ba, ‘di ba? Wala na ‘yung mga agam-agam mo o paghahangad sa kung ano ‘yung wala ka,” the award-winning actor said.
John Lloyd Cruz added that his life is much simpler now. He just realized that it could really be simple and he has see the value of what he has.
