This is how Elias has changed the life of A-list actor John Lloyd Cruz, his son with Ellen Adarna.
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – Kapamilya actor John Lloyd finally returns to showbiz and this is accordingly the changes in his life having his son Elias.
Elias Modesto is the son of famous actor John Lloyd Cruz with former partner actress Ellen Adarna. Although they weren’t able to work out their relationship, they settled in a co-parenting set-up for the sake of their child. Ellen, who is soon marrying boyfriend Derek Ramsay, believed that his son needs his father just as much as he needs her being the mother.
For almost four years, Lloydie lived a simple life away from the limelight escaping with Ellen before. And now, as he returns to the industry where he is most loved, he signed under Crown Artist Management of his friend Maja Salvador. This has been confirmed based on a previous article following his filed indefinite leave of absence from his home network.
And recently, as he came back, he spoke about his son and the impact it has made in his life when he came during an interview with journalist and film director Ceasar Soriano in Radyo Kidlat 98.3 FM. He said that what he is now and what he has done is something he owes from Elias.
He believes that he wouldn’t be where he is now if not for and because of his son. He described Elias as his teacher in his life because his existence has taught him a lot things. The A-list actor added, “Malaki ang talagang papel niya kung bakit, di ba, bumabangon ka, nagsusumikap ka. Kaya, naku, talagang malaki ang utang na… utang ko… utang ko ang buhay ko sa anak ko. Kung wala yung anak ko, baka wala na rin ako dito.”
And with all the challenges he’s gotten to through the years, he became closer to God now and he has now a clearer perspective in his life. He saw the simplicity of everything and being thankful for what he just have. John Lloyd also confirmed that he will be doing a project with Bea Alonzo.
