JC Santos loves showbiz but admitted this hardest thing for him
Dito At Doon actor JC Santos gets honest about the hardest thing in showbiz for him during a recent thanksgiving media conference for his movie with Janine Gutierrez.
Throughout the years he has already spent in the entertainment industry, JC has shown his ability to capture the emotion of his audience through the characters that he is portraying.
He has already done several movies that highlighted his caliber as an actor. JC shared that at a young age, he already knew that he wants to be in the entertainment industry, based on the article in PUSH.
The actor said that he started acting when he was 16 years old and from that, he already knew what path he will go. “I’ve been acting since I was 16 so pinili ko talaga siya. Gusto ko talaga siya. Wala na akong ibang piniling course, as in rekta ako sa community theater from Pampanga to UP na mag Theater Arts and that’s what I’m going to do for the rest of my life, ganun,” he shared.
Despite his love for the craft, JC Santos admitted that he still feels difficult in a certain aspect of showbiz and it is the lack of sleep.
“So I think ang pinakamahirap na nangyari sa akin sa screen is yung wala pang pandemya ha, ang sarap sarap gawin ng acting, ang sarap katrabaho ng mga tao, so walang tulog (laughs). Yun yung hindi ko kaya. Dun lang ako na-cha-challenge ng todo pagka kailangan namin mag-shoot ng ganitong oras, at the same time pupunta ka ng madaling araw or umaga,” the actor revealed.
He also shared that even actress Iza Calzado feels the same. They find happiness in fulfilling their showbiz engagements and being with people who are also working in the same industry but what really drags their energy is the fact that they will have not enough sleep because of their schedules.
“So parang ang hirap. Yun lang yung challenge for me. Pero nag-e-enjoy ako the whole time. And the process,” JC Santos said.
