One of the television series that hooked a lot of people in 2016 was the ABS-CBN romance TV series Till I Met You. It was a story of love and friendship top-billed by James Reid, Nadine Lustre, and JC Santos.
Undeniably, Till I Met You will always be one of the biggest breaks for JC’s showbiz career. He was a newbie then and he’s one of the straight actors in showbiz who played a challenging role. JC Santos’ Family Background
JC Santos was born in Pampanga, Philippines in November 19, 1988. Born as John Carlos Abrugar Santos, the actor is the son of a non-showbiz couple, Edwin Santos and Elizabeth Gutierrez. He has a sister named Janine.
The father of JC is a seafarer while his mother works in Las Vegas. He studied Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Manila and he also took Musical Theater in Circle in the Square Theater School in New York.
Till I Met You
JC Santos’ Till I Met You Role was Alejandro “Ali” Nicolas in the TV series directed by Antoinette Jadaone. His role is an only child of a general and his wife. Growing up, he’s expected to become a general like his father but he quit the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) and pursued culinary arts.
Ali eventually had a relationship with his best friend, Iris, who was played by Nadine. They went to Greece for business purposes and it is where he confessed to Iris about his gender preference – amid falling in love with Basti, played by James.
JC Santos Now A Father
In January 2020, JC confirmed that he’s going to be a father. His partner, Shyleena Herrera, was carrying their eldest then. He revealed that she was his high school crush 15 years ago and they saw each other again and went out for months.
JC and Shyleena got married. Many were surprised but the actor stressed that they did not keep it and it is just that his social media is for work purposes only.
In March 2020, JC and Shyleena introduced their eldest – a baby girl they nicknamed “River”. Visibly, the actor is living his best life now with his little family.
