ABS-CBN broadcaster Karen Davila clarifies transfer rumors after answering GMA’s survey.

KAREN DAVILA – Respected Kapamilya reporter Karen Davila answers rumors to transfer to GMA after answering their online survey.

Filipino journalist, radio broadcaster, newsreader, and television presenter and certainly one of the most respected in the field known for her in-depth reporting and ways of interviewing is Karen Davila. Over 28 years ago, she is accordingly with GMA but transferred to ABS-CBN. Will she again return to being a Kapuso?

Recently, GMA news on their Facebook page has posted a survey on what is best to put on “Tinola” a Filipino dish, will it be “sayote” or “papaya”. In the comment section of the post joining the other people is the Kapamilya reported who chose “sayote”. And joining the fun survey has ignited speculations about her transferring to another network.

To recall, some of the reporters of Kapamilya network has left when they were not granted a new franchise to continue their operation, and most of them expressed that it’s for practical reasons which the network has understood. However, in Karen’s case, clarifying the rumors, she said that there’s no truth about it and stated that she will definitely stay with her network “through its hardest time”.

She accordingly just joined the survey because she loved the said Filipino dish just like most people. The female broadcaster said, “I am a Kapamilya and will stand by the company through its hardest time. Praying for better days ahead for all of us.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Davila faces transfer rumors. In a previous article, she shared that despite losing some of her programs, she still has her Headstart and pled to people not to think badly of others who decided to leave.
