Karen Davila Called ‘Ipokrita’ For Alleged Silence On Angel Locsin Issue

ABS-CBN journalist Karen Davila was called “ipokrita” by a netizen who thought that she remained silent on Angel Locsin’s community pantry issue.

When the birthday community pantry that Angel organized went wrong, several celebrities and famous personalities sympathize and showed support for her.

Despite the threat of facing the issue on a legal aspect, as Brgy. Charmain of Holy Spirit Felicito Valmocina stated supporters of Angel, especially her fellow Kapamilyas are rallying behind her.

However, for a netizen, Kapamilya news anchor Karen Davila was just silent about this. Based on the article in PEP, Karen shared a Bible Verse and her caption was encouraging her social media followers to not fear and cling to their faith.

This received comment from a netizen who assumed that the journalist is just being silent about the issue that surfaced at the community pantry that Angel organized.

To recall, senior citizen Rolando dela Cruz died while waiting at the queue. The said netizen called Karen “ipokrito”.

“Wala ka bang sasabihin tungkol kay @therealangellocsin? LUMABAS BA PAGKA IPOKRITA MO KAREN DAVILA?” the netizen commented.

Karen Davila answered this negative comment from the netizen in a calm way. She clarified that she already expressed how she admires Angel Locsin for her effort to help other Filipinos.

She told the netizen to check her Facebook and Twitter post to find what she posted about the actress.

“Perhaps you can ask me first before judging. I have FB, Twitter, IG and Lyka now. God bless you,” the Kapamilya journalist said. Just like Angel, Karen is also vocal in expressing her views and opinions when it comes to social issues.
