Willie Revillame remembers showbiz personalities who recently died

Wowowin host Willie Revillame shared the letter he got from the late comedian Le Chazz and the article that the late columnist Ricky Lo wrote about him.

In the recent episode of his Kapuso game show, Willie recalled the time when Le Chazz was working in Wowowin. At first, the late comedian was the show’s jester. Eventually, Kuya Wil saw his potential and made him one of the co-hosts. Le Chazz died last May 1.

Just like the late comedian’s best friend AJ Tamiza, the Wowowin host also received a letter. Based on the article in GMANetwork.com, here’s the message of Le Chazz to Willie Revillame.

“Mr. Willie Revillame, my forever kuya. Sobrang mahal na mahal kita, Kuya Wil. I owe you a lot. Kaya naman from Wowowee to our Wowowin, sinamahan kita.”

Kuya Wil also remembered Ricky Lo, who is one of the most respected entertainment writers in the Philippines. The columnist died on May 4 at the age of 75. Many showbiz personalities were saddened by this.

There were also those who paid tribute to Ricky for being a mentor, a friend, and someone who has been in the industry for 50 years.

Willie Revillame also shared how Ricky Lo helped him when it comes to his career. “Salamat Tito Ricky sa lahat ng mga napakagandang isinulat mo para sa akin at para sa programang Wowowin. We love you. Mami-miss namin kayo.” the Wowowin host said.

Meanwhile, in a previous article, Kuya Wil shared that he almost gave up his game show. It was because of the financial losses that he encountered as he was the producer of Wowowin when it started on GMA-7.
