This is what Lolit Solis shared over the financial situation of Robin Padilla and his wife Mariel amid the pandemic.
ROBIN PADILLA – Veteran showbiz journalist Lolit Solis shares something about the financial status of married couple Robin and Mariel Padilla.
When people scroll through the lives of celebrities on social, it seemingly appears that apart from restricted movements and travels, nothing has changed in their lifestyle amid the pandemic. The status of their financial situation looked as if it has remained unaffected. However, it’s not the same case for Robin Padilla and Mariel Padilla.
According to Lolit Solis, the action star has admitted that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, their budget has been affected which made them come up with a business that is now growing. They sell high-quality steaks and Mariel is really hands-on to it. Her grandparents have the same business and it is something they would like her to do as well.
In a previous article, Mariel shared that the reason why they put up a business is in order to save up for the future of their two daughters. She shared that she already has a school in her mind to send them to and is well aware of how expensive it can get if they send them there. This has fueled her to work harder now amid the pandemic as she does not want to entirely depend on everything on her husband.
Based on the post of Lolit, she shared that due to some conflicts in terms of budgetting, the married couple decided to the online food selling. She then added this realization, “Kung iyon kategorya ni Robin Padilla affected na, mas lalo siguro iyon nasa mas lower ang ranking di bah?”
The veteran reporter furthered that they are not alone in this case because a lot people were actually suffering in a similar dilemma. She also wrote, “Lahat ngayon nakaka feel ng paghihirap sa income kaya hindi kataka taka na ang isang Robin Padilla o Mariel Rodriguez gumawa ng paraan , or else mahihirapan talaga.”

However, in the comments section, some people couldn’t believe this because they still have other ways to earn money. As for Mariel, she accordingly has a Youtube channel with a wide following and in her posts, it seems like they are not suffering like most Filipinos of today in this tough time of the pandemic. Some agreed to this and said that what they are doing is just a perfect example of working hard and finding ways to survive.
