PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Monday (May 3)

PH WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the Philippines would experience fair and hot weather condition.

On Monday (May 3, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies or warm winds would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, and Benguet.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Meanwhile, the down south of Mindanao and the remaining parts of the country is expected to experience hot and humid weather condition.

The weather agency also warned of possible flash floods or landslides in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.

The coastal water conditions over Northern Luzon and Aurora province as well as Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
