Drug Pusher Dies During Buy-Bust Ops in Bulacan After Allegedly Fought Back
Buy-bust operation against the alleged drug pusher in Bulacan turn into shootout after the suspect who later dies allegedly fought back.
After a police anti-drug operation in Barangay Santo Cristo, Pulilan town, Bulacan, allegedly ended in an encounter, a man died on the spot on the side of the road. The slain suspect was classified as alias JR, according to details from PNP Regional Office 3.

Aside from the gunned-down suspect, his male partner rode away on a motorcycle in the middle of the shootout. The name of the man on the run is still unknown.

On Saturday, the Bulacan Provincial Police Office and the Pulilan Municipal Police Station joined forces to arrest the suspect. The police poseur-buyer was dealing in illicit drugs worth P1,000.
During the transaction, an altercation occurred, which resulted in the death of the perpetrator, who was accused of fighting back against the operatives. At the scene of the encounter, 29 sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,400 and shells from a 9mm pistol were seized.
Meanwhile, in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, a public school teacher was arrested during a buy-bust operation. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized a pack of alleged illegal drugs worth P10,000 from the 40-year-old teacher.
At the drug den, five other visitors were also detained. Authorities have seized five packs of illegal narcotics worth P165, 000 as well as drug paraphernalia.
