Female Suspect & Child Arrested For Hacking Facebook Account of Young Lady and Extorting Money from Her
A female suspect together with her child have been arrested after hacking the social media account of a young lady and extorts money from her.
The suspect identified as Maricar Sena and her child Jingky Joy Sena have been arrested by the police authorities in an entrapment operation. The police operatives served as undercover agents during the operation.
The National Bureau of Investigation said that the 17-year-old victim has been shocked after Jingky Joy Sena hacked her Facebook account. The suspect blackmailed her and extort money from her.
The culprit initially asked P10, 000 and threatened the suspect that she will upload her alleged malicious video on social media if she will refuse to send the money. The suspect tried to convince the victim by sending sample videos to her friends and relatives.
Jingky eventually admitted her mistakes and apologized to the victim for her wrongdoings. Maricar also explained that she had no idea that Jingky is earning through extortion, which is considered as a crime.

The suspects would face robbery extortion, anti-photo and voyeurism act and violation of cybercrime law.
