Malacañang Airs Pres. Duterte’s Decision on Quarantine Measures in PH

MALCAÑANG – The Palace announced the quarantine measure in NCR Plus and other areas in the Philippines amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Stricter community quarantine measures were once again imposed in some areas in the Philippines following the spike in the cases of COVID-19 in the country. Previously, the whole Metro Manila and the provinces of Bulacan, Laguna, Rizal, and Cavite were under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

After several days, the national government eased the quarantine measure in the NCR Plus to Modified ECQ. This week, the MECQ in the said areas has reached its expiry.
