Here’s what Heart Evangelista said about being both a celebrity and influencer
Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaboration Heart Evangelista shared was asked if she thinks being an influencer is a downgrade for celebrities like her and here is what she said about this.
Being one of the famous actresses in her generation, it is but natural that many people look up to Heart. Aside from her showbiz engagements, she is also being admired because of her fashion style.
Through her social media posts, her followers online would see glimpses of her life and the glamorous things around her. With this, she is somehow became an inspiration to other people.
Nowadays, celebrities are not just the most-followed people on social media. A bunch of “influencers” are making their names online. There are also celebrities who now ventured into social media platforms.
In an interview with The Philippine Star, Heart Evangelista was asked if she thinks being tagged as “influencer” is a downgrade for her “celebrity” status.
“I think being called anything that has to do with being in a spotlight or just being on stage where you have even just one audience is never a downgrade,” the wife of Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero said.
She added that it is a sort of blessing to be an influencer to anyone and this way good vibes are shared. For her, it is a good thing to make other people smile.
The Kapuso star also said that she does not mind what fans will call her. She said that being a celebrity who has no “maraming fans”, she is happy to make even one person happy.
“If you’re in a position have influence is already a blessing. You can change at least one person’s life. So, celebrity, influencer, for me it’s all the same,” Heart Evangelista added.
